SJ-49 is a very special stone. This stone was semi-shaped when it exported out of Sierra Leone. An original “village stone”. Because of the special history of this stone, we decided to build a custom mounting to hold and protect it. 
The stone displays lots of distinctive fissures, color zoning, and surface marks. It is completely untreated, just very lightly polished and gently shaped.  The large bail will accommodate a large chain, perfect size for a gentleman or a lady.
